Description

This is a very interesting german classic. A hematite var pencil ore accompanied by some more fragments of fibrous hematite comes with two labels suggesting an origin at Oedsbach in the Black Forest. Although this is quite possible if one looks at the paragenesis of the Hesselbach veins, Oedsbach, and old reports it is more likely that the specimens come from the Hohberg-St. Roman area. So a bit of unsure origin but still really interesting and nice classic material. Size is for the largest pencil ore.
