Description

A small but very good example of pattersonite. The very rare lead-iron-phosphate pattersonite was discovered in 2005 and named for crystallographer Arthur Patterson. This sample has a very good coverage of yellow to yellowish green tiny tabular crystals and rosette-like aggregates of pattersonite on the matrix. From the second known locality for this rare species.
