Description

An unusual Old Yuma Mine specimen from a old collection showing matrix with one face displaying a nice coverage of prismatic red and orange vanadinite crystals in association with colourless calcite. In addition many of the vanadinite crystals show an acicular epitaxial growth of another mineral, possibly wulfenite and there are also areas of transparent bubbly hyalite opal which produces a bright green colour under short wave UV light.
