Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Großkogel, St Gertraudi, Kufstein District, Carinthia, Austria
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
4.3 × 8 × 6 cm
Largest Crystal:
1.30cm
Description

A very good sample from this (almost) type locality. The largest crystal really stands out and is far better in nature, real good reflecting the light.

About the acanthite I'm not positively sure. There's a thin reflecting layer on some of the schwazite. Perhaps that's it ... Previous owner was a chemist with x-ray-facilities. So the label should be correct.
