Description

An extremely rare locality specimen composed of brown interpenetrated descloizite crystals with some lustrous crystals in cavities, in a matrix of olive green mottramite. 

The extremely isolated Toni locality, in Bas-Congo region, was visited in 1958 by Albert Van Hee, a mineral collector and Colonist in D.R. Congo who was working as a Customs officer in the Congo River.

A representative specimen of this set was analysed by Prof. Dr. Renaud Vochten in the 80's.
