Description

The Ahmeek Mine was the only copper mine in the famed Keweenaw to produce the rare organic oxalates, Moolooite (copper-rich, bluish-green) and Whewellite (calcium-rich, white). Rich crusts are scattered on both sides of the sculptural, floater, native Copper .
