Description

This locality, not far away from the famous Göpfersgrün, has produced not only the well-known pseudomorphs after quartz, but some others like this nice pseudomorph after magnesite. Comes with a beautiful old label of the K.S. (Königlich-Sächsische) Mineralien-Niederlage zu Freiberg, (Royal saxon mineral repository Freiberg), dated appr. 1880-1920. 'Speckstein' means Steatite, 'Bitterspat' is an old german synonym for magnesite. Weight: 100 grams
