Description

Harstigite is a extremelly rare sorosilicate( of calcium, manganese and beryllium. Harstigite forms masses colorless to beige tone. Species presents red fluorescence under SW-UV light. With label of Dr. M. Murashko and confirmed by our SEM-EDS analysis (Be is not visible by EDS).
We analyzed also the fibrous aggregates with beige tone, the semiquantitative SEM-EDS results indicate the presence of As, Pb, Mn and Mg in percentages those indicate: långbanshyttanite. Other lead arsenates are cited in this mine but all of them with chlorine in the composition. In these analysis chlorine is not present.
