Description

You are bidding on a small and very unusual sample from Franklin with some reddish-brown/olive green, color zoned, free-growing gahnite crystals on a bed of hodgkinsonite tablets with minor willemite prisms and a few soft, yellowish platy hydrotalcite crystals. This find is from the Dr. Cook of Harvard collection and was verified by Pete Dunn at the Smithsonian. A true oddity from the Steven Phillips collection of Franklin District raritites and micromounts.
