Description

Chabazite-Ca var Haydenite from the type locality: Named in 1822 by Parker Cleaveland in honor of Dr. Horace Henry Hayden this variety forms here brown cube-like rhombohedrons on matrix. Associated according to the old Damour(?) label with Beaumontite (also TL), a variety of Heulandite -Ca. With old french label, 19th century specimen. A rare and classic old timer!
