Description

From a poorly known locality in Parma's badlands, this is a gypsum rose floater made of multiple yellowish crystals finely aggregated. Its funny rounded appearence is decodated by two swallow-tail twins in good conditions. Clay between the crystals was left due to my avoidance to preserve the geological signature.
Good lustre and quality for the locality, this is coming out straight from my collection. This specimen is among the best I have ever found, and it is a true connoisseur specimen!

This locality is a 'well kept secret' among the old collectors of the province. Specifically, it is a single spot in a badland, usually reached by dropping from above with ropes for over 20 meters, and the mineralized spots can be usually spotted only after a very intense rain event.
