Description

Crystalline gold in second generation white quartz cross-cutting older rhyolite and phyllite country rock. Gold is extremely rich and on visual inspection maybe as much as 20% of the vein. Gold forms are varied and include hacky crystal forms, octahedral, spinel crystals, wires and spongy masses. Iron and manganese oxides also present. Excellent display small cabinet of an American gold from an unusual location, now part of the Morenci mining complex. Comes with old dealer label
