Description

This specimen hosts one larger gold bleb (3 mm) and lots of smaller ones in massive pyrite, accompanied by crystalline quartz.

Comes with very nice old label dated to 19th century. The label means: "Gold-rich pyrite. 1 ton: 980 g gold, 103 g silver. Kiselina Prokura, South Hungary".
"South Hungary" is a designation for an area in todays Romania before World War I. It is very likely that the location is mispelled (Prokura-Porkura). For Porkura (hungarian) / Vălişoara (romanian), gold and pyrite is described. It is also well-known for beautiful amethyst specimen. I did not find any reference for "Kiselina".
