Crystalline mico nuggets of gold in quartz associated with partly weathered galena and pyrhotite in Quartz. Kubi gold mine is an abandoned open pit mine located 8 kilometres northeast of Dunkwa-on-Offin and 22 kilometres south of Obuasi, in Ashanti Region, southern Ghana. Mined by Ashanti Anglogold from 2001-2005
