Description

Rich specimen featuring half a dozen centimetric crystals of goethite pseudomorphing pyrite cubes, in very good conditions. Crystals are striated (trigliph figures) and embedded in a creamy schist, although called "red dolomite" in the original label.

In very good conditions and quite peculiar from this area of the Alps, the specimen comes from the former collection Flurin (CH) and dates back between the 50s and the 70s.
