Description

Thin white galeaclolusite needles branch off from a glassy colorless / milky central core. Galeaclolusite is a very rare mineral closely related to bulachite only found in the the outstanding French mine of Cap Garonne. I had this sample from one of the authors who told me it was analyzed.

The material studied comes from some old samples collected previously, as the site has been inaccessible to research since 1995 because it is under protection and the collection of minerals inside and outside the mine is prohibited.

Extremely rare !!
