Description

An interesting specimen of banded fluorite with purplish colours, a reddish iron stained surface and small purple crystals in a vug. Reminds of the famous Blue John Derbyshire fluorite from the Castleton area but is labeled to be from Buxton Derbyshire. Certainly not a very common specimen, 19th century.
