Description

Group of deep blue, interpenetrated crystals of lazulite from Werfen (Austria). No detailed information is supplied with the specimen regarding the exact locality. Some faces of lazulite crystal are present, intergrown with brown Breunnerite, a variety of Ferroan Magnesite. This is an old piece, from the collection of Mr. Georges Vanacker*.

*Vanackerite (from Tsumeb) is named after him.
