Description

Bright yellow crystals of pittongite in a cavity in blackish etched ferberite. The very thin platy crystals of pittongite are in rather open aggregates and have a pearly lustre and a reddish iron staining on the surface on places.

Extensive collecting in the area, the type and only locality for this species, in the last few years has not yielded any further specimens of this species which was described in 2006
