Description

On an olive green coloured epidote-rock numerous translucent, often gemmy crystals of epidote are set. These are sharp, very well developped, show many faces and are up to 0.7 cm in size.

The specimen is from the collection of the famous Swedish mineralogist Harry von Eckermann († 1969, the mineral Eckermannite is named after him) and is followed by an original label bonded in a cardboard box. On the specimen itself another label is fixed from a still older collection.
