Description

Unbelievable unique find of a gas bubble in liquid inside one of those fluorescent fluorite crystals from one of the most recent finds in Weardale. I was told only 2 or 3 more samples of those enhydros exist. Unfortunately I cannot get my camera to focus on this, but the bubble is very clearly visible in nature - about 1 mm in diameter. Of course, this is not a great specimen by Weardale fluorite standards, with cleavages and chipping, but with this bubble it is perhaps the rarest sample you can get from this place.

I tried to photograph it with about everything I have, but the only image I could get from the bubble is a pale, white blur. In nature the bubble is clearly visible - even without a magnifying lense.
