Description

Attention to this, good size, superb historical piece, completely free of damages. The base is composed of scalenohedral crystals of calcite that have been completely replaced by creamy dolomite. The surface is richly covered by brown sharp siderite crystals and minor tiny chalcopyrites. It comes from the Himmelfahrt mine of the Freiberg district, likely from the Abrahamschacht.

It comes with an old original handwritten label. Ex Robert Jakob specimen.
