Description

A very good magnetite specimen from the well known Biggenden magnetite depositis in Queensland.

The magnetite crystals as both singles and small groups are attractively arranged over cinnamon coloured grossular garnet with albite, diopside and epidote crystals, Also scattered amongst the magnetite crystals are reniform groups of a pale greenish mineral belonging to the chlorite series.
