Description

Diadochite is a rare iron phosphate-sulphate, and its type locality is Argenteau (Belgium). This specimen that we present comes from this Belgian locality. It shows the characteristic shape, nodular, with a beige tone.

Similar to destinezite, with which it was often confused, until destinezite was (re)defined as the crystalline equivalent of the amorphous diadochite (IMA decision 00-E). Nowadays is impossible to collect there. Collected ±1990's.
