Description

Cordierite is not a rare mineral, but quite scarce on the shows. Here is a nice yellow-brown historic sample from famous Fahlun mining area in Sweden.

Comes with antique label. The label states (questionable) weissite as accompanying mineral. Weissite is a Cu-Telluride and described for Fahlun.
There's indeed a silver-gray mineral (and some, more golden colored mica) to be found on one side of the specimen (pics 5+6) but it needs further analysis.
