Description

This is an old specimen from Sinjako, today "Sinjakovo Mine, Jajce, Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina". It features some "nests" of native copper, associated with secondary minerals.

Comes with antique notice label in the handwriting of Hans Jaklin. He was an austrian collector and mineralogist, born in 1874. He may have been a Royal Imperial "Mining academician" (k.k. Bergakademiker). His mineral collection consisted almost exclusively of specimens from Austro-Hungarian empire localities.
