Description

A gemmy, complete floater crystal of chrysoberyl. The color is the typical, yellowish green.

Comes in a test glass with cork stopper and antique E. Hussak collection label dated 19th century.
Eugen Hussak was born in 1856 in Graz, Austria and studied geology under Ferdinand Zirkel in Leipzig, where he earned his PhD. He was a member of the Geological Survey of Brazil (Geographic and Geologic Commission) in Saõ Paolo in 1887-1895, and wrote numerous articles on Brazilian mineralogy.

An important historic specimen.
