7.8 × 6.7 × 4.7 cm
Description

The 'Kälberstall' is an ancient mine, first worked on in 1660. In 1724 it was combined with the 'Haselstaude mine'. Similar fluorite specimen appear on Mindat under the locality 'Hölzerne Staude und Gottes Vertrauen Mine, Schottenberg, Frohnau'. Not knowing the region's complete mining history I can only guess both were later combined with those new mines.

However, the specimen shows a nice, fine green color, a lot of intertwined crystals and some nice chalcopyrite crystals on top. The baryte crystals are unfortunately damaged and there is a ding at the side of the fluorite. Not too bad for an unusual, historic specimen.
