Description

Lustrous prismatic crystals of zinkenite to 24 mm, associated to sphalerite, chalcopyrite and pyrite. This analysed specimen was the #1592 of the Petrologic Collection of the Tomás Frías University of Poopó (Bolivia). According to the label, the specimen was donated to the University by engineer Humberto Castro on May 4th 1989, and classified by A. Guerrero. Obtained in 1995, it is an Ex. Paul Van Wassenhoven (BE) collection specimen.
