Description

Fluorite from the Erzgebirge is well known and the occurrences of the Freiberg and Annaberg districts are amongst the most prolific and famous in Europe. This is a polished section of a chalcedony- ein with purple fluorite with very nice structure, labeled Bärenhecke but more probably from the nearby Johnsbach locality, also near the village of Glashütte. Nice and not so common example.
