Description

An oddity: Set of 11 pieces of cassiterite var wood-tin (spanish "Estano madera") out of an alluvial deposit, in different colors in a glass with screw plug.

The given size is an average, specimens vary from 1 - 2.5 cm.

This old sample is from an unknown bolivian geologist, I have acquired it a few years before from an austrian collector who made a lot of trips to bolivia in the past.
