Description

A lawn of small white calcite crystals on massive galena, accompanied by cubic stepped fluorite.
Comes with historic label of the 'Real Compañía Asturiana (de Minas)', founded in 1853 and producing zinc and lead in the province of Guipúzcoa for a period of 90 years.
The label means: „Real Compania Asturiana Grube: (mine) San Narciso. Prov. Guipuzcoa. Spanien (Spain) Kalkspath auf Bleiglanz, Flußspath (calcite on galena, fluorite)“
An interesting historic spanish specimen.
