Description

Very attractive and uncommon piece of scalenohedral calcite crystals on matrix that have been completely replaced by black heterogenite. The surface is covered by pseudomorphs of sharp crystals of azurite replaced by fibrous lustrous malachite.

Acquired in 1985 by PhD Geologist Bob Janssens (specimen #2032).
