Description

A special oddity is this yellow calcite with stalactitic growth in 2 generations labeled to be from Bermuda.
It has a small "Mus. M&M" sticker which indicates that this is a specimen out of the collection of Charles Ottley Groom-Napier, also known as Prince of Mantua and Montferrat (1839-1894), a collector with an interesting biography (see http://mineralogicalrecord.com/labels.asp?colid=370). An interesting specimen with pedigree!
