Bruchgraben, Zell am See District, Salzburg, Austria
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
9 × 6.2 × 4.2 cm
Description

Very interesting and rare specimen. It's almost a floater consisting entirely of white, platy stilbite crystals. One side almost completely covered with greenish acicular byssolite crystals, topped by some nice white opaque pericline crystals. There's more (massive) pericline, possibly once the base of this specimen. There's also a fine titanite crystal which I unfortunately oversaw when I took the pictures. Incredible and very unusual find.
