Description

Anthropomorphic silver sheet, found at the excavation site of the Oberhütte smelter which is dated around 1540. It is residual melted silver which ran into cracks between the fireclay (you still can see traces of the bricks attached to the sheet). The interesting thing is: the surface of the sheets 're-crystallized' again. As everything created by humans will be taken back by nature one time this is kind of 're-naturized' silver. So you get an antique with a little 'new' nature on it. There are also some brownish micro crystals on this specimen, which most probably are bromargyrite (visual ID).
