Description

Historic ore sample from Hukill, Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado, USA. The specimen consists of different ore minerals as golden chalcopyrite, black sphalerite,silvery galena with the typical cleavage and blueish tarnished bornite.

Comes with antique notice label which originally was glued on the specimen using arabic gum, a commonly used, water-soluble glue of this period.
