Im Lochborn Copper Mine, Bieber, Biebergemünd, Main-Kinzig, Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany

Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

4.5 × 4 × 3.2 cm
Description

Rare stuff.

Wilke labeled this one as Bi minerals in "Speiskobalt". The latter is a synonym for smaltite and skutterudite ..

I did not analyse the sample but safflorite may also be possible.

Inside the speiskobalt ore masses some native bismuth crystals are included .. to be recognized by the typical rose metallic lustre and the typical habit.

Some oxidation minerals on the surface (erythrite).

Comes with hand written label.
