Description

A lawn of well-defined bismuth crystals on matrix, partly arranged in parrallel growths with stepped faces. Associated with greyish quartz crystals.

Comes with beautiful antique label. The label means: "Wismuth - Vereinigt Feld Johanngeorgenstadt - mit Wismuthocker - auf der Grube gekauft" (Bismut - Vereinigt Feld Johanngeorgenstadt - with bismut ochre - purchased in the mine).
In 1838 in Johanngeorgenstadt, six of the most promising mining pits and another one because of their location were united under the name of 'Vereinigt Feld im Fastenberge' to form a mining union.
