Description

Massive, yellowish-greenish bismite. Pseudomorphs after regular bismuthinite are suggested.

Comes with nice old label dated around 1900, a little bit weathered by oxidation products. An important historic sample from Mount Tasna in Bolivia; the Tasna mine (situated at 4500-4800 m altitude) is still in operation, working on several W-Bi veins. The region is also famous for nuggets of native bismuth.
