Description

Beautiful yellow-green beudantite up to 200µm on red limonite patterned quartz crystals. The label mentions carminite, but this could be confused with the red patterned quartz. 

The correctly given locality is the Adolfschacht near the town Pützbach. The geology are siderite-quartz-veins with Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag mineralization in clay shales and sandstones. Bad Ems got famous worldwide for its remarkable pyromorphite specimens. Nevertheless ambitious collectors found beautiful micromount specimens in the last years on the old dumps, some of them very rare (lahnsteinite IMA2012-002) others more common but beautiful
