Description

The Gyudyurska deposit is one of the less know locations in Bulgaria. In a period about 35 years ago, this mine produced some characteristic specimens that are different from Madan for example. This specimen shows a wonderful combination of galena and pyrite. The contrast of these two minerals is excellent. Some of the galena-faces are covered by micro crystallized quartz as thin white layers. Also, there are some small quartz-balls as nice aggregations in the specimen’s center. At the backside you can find some clear baryte-crystals.
