Description

This specimen was adquired in 2005 in Chamonix Mineral Show. It shows a very rich group of gemmy axinite-(Fe) crystals, transparent, intense brown color, brilliance... a really nice specimen (better in hand). Also interesting for its locality (before 1972, this locality was named 'Notre Dame de Briançon'). Not many specimens with this quality.
