Description

Calcium carbonate forms both Aragonite and Calcite, and these two minerals only differ in their crystallization. Calcite, more common minerals, forms in trigonal crystals, whereas aragonite forms orthorhombic. Aragonite is the main component of many organic substances, such as Pearl and Coral. This particular specimen is a little cute from botryoidal habit Aragonite, showing seafoam blue colour with waxy luster. It's very well crystalized all around on matrix.
