Description

A nice beryl from the Fano mine in southern California. This lesser known locality has produced unique beryl crystals, fine schorl tourmalines, as well as some other California rarities. This specimen has a nice form, pale blue coloration, and a nice gemmy interior (much gemmier in person, especially when viewed down the C-axis).

The specimen is pitted and has clearly been exposed to the elements.
