Description

Black Forest classic from Hinterohlsbach, the locality used to be a mine for illite/"hydromuscovite" (altered rhyolite), long time abandoned now. In/on a matrix of tan whiteish altered rhyolite settle flat sprays of fluorapatite from reddish brownish via greenish to blueish. Accompanied by purple fluorite this is a nice and interesting (and also rare) paragenesis specimen from this defunct locality.
