Description

Nodule of microcrystalline blue anhydrite variety angelite. It has been partially polished in a curved surface to enhance structure and colour.

Acquired in 1987 by Gerard Vogel, it is labelled as Peru. According to Hyrsl, et al. (2010) “Peru: Paradise of Minerals”, these nodules are found near Aplao, Camaná, in Arequipa, Peru.
