An old-time almandine specimen from a historic location in Sweden.

The piece features sharp, dark red trapezohedra of almandine on/in quartz matrix. The largest crystal measures 8 mm across. The piece comes with an old hand-written paper label of Franz Bauer, Munich, Germany.
