Description

Interesting alpine oldie: whiteish crystals of adularia settle on matrix. Between the adularia there are lots of greenish brownish needles of an unidentified mineral (according to the label, i did not examine due to no time at all :-) ). From Mullwitzaderl, in Tyrol, Austria.

Nota bene: wrt the label i am not sure if it belongs to the specimen. Dimensions are almost ok (8x9 on the label, 6 x 9 IRL .. depending how you measure the proportion gets a bit better). I miss the chlorite ... and the pericline etc. The label came with this specimen and it was dusted like at least 50 years. Maybe Krantz used it as a generic for several specimens. Please be aware of that when bidding.
