We just felt a little tremor going through the mineral world. Not unexpected but still a bit shocking, the Munich show is cancelled.
Even though we're quite packed in the moment with new material and expect much more in the next two weeks I had been looking forward to meeting with colleagues in person, have a nice chat, a beer or two ...
Well, it wasn't meant to be. Covid-19 is still playing games with us, coming back with a vengeance after resting rather calmly in the last two months. I think we gotta get used to it. It will take it's time before things get back to normal.
At least the Munich cancellation started a communication rush. I never got so many WhatsApps, calls and Emails and I had some nice conversations with friends and colleagues I had last met at the Munich show 2019.
So, we are pretty relaxed, enjoying our time at home, planning our buys and sales, re-arranging our cabinets and getting a lot of fresh air with our dog, whenever our schedule allows it.
And you can just lay back in your armchair, click on the things you like and don't have to worry about flights, trains, hotel rooms and wearing masks ...
All things have two sides.

PS: In case you're wondering where the German specimens are - there will be a very interesting special auction soon.
